Why “Unschooling for Unlearning”?
Traditional schooling teaches children what to think—unschooling invites them to explore how they think. Our model helps learners unlearn limiting beliefs, rediscover curiosity, and build confidence through personalized, interest-led experiences. We do not walk over the paths of traditional schooling. We walk beside them—finding the blind spots in learning. We help children and families see clearly what their young ones are truly capable of doing, creating, and exploring.
How It Works
Interest Inventory: We begin by discovering what your child loves, wonders, and wants to explore.IUEP Creation: We design an Individualized Unlearning Educational Plan tailored to your child’s interests.Weekly Learning: Your child engages in one live session and one creative module each week.Parent Feedback: You receive a weekly report with insights into your child’s growth and mindset shifts

About the Founder
Hi, I’m Naila Shahid, an educator and learning designer passionate about helping children rediscover joy in learning. I created Unschooling for Unlearning to give families a flexible, personalized alternative to traditional education—one that starts with curiosity and builds confidence through creative exploration. I have a masters in Comparative and International Education and am a doctoral student in Curriculum and Teaching at Teachers College Columbia University.
